I had a conversation with my brother today.
Him,"Sarah, let me ask you a question, if there's this one poor man not even left with a single cent, and at the same time he's starving. He's been starved for many days and finally he sees a piece of fresh bread on a table, what do you think he will do?"
Me,"Eat it of course."
Him,"Okay what happens if there's another person vying for the bread and he's much bigger in size. But this poor man is already going to die of starvation, what do you think he will do then?"
Me,"Fight for it of course since already dying nothing to be afraid of."
Him,"Exactly. What I'm trying to say is, this applies to everything in life, that how much a person tries on something, depends on how badly he wants it or whether is it a necessity. It's not just about the effort, but more like CONSCIOUS effort. Imagine you are only talking about survival and food, what's more when it involves loved ones?"
That was when I truly woke up... I've learnt =)
